“He came from somewhere beyond the trees
Carrying the quiet of open skies
With weather beneath his graceful wings
and the soft earth in his eyes.
He found an old piece of wood
Worn smooth by seasons and rain
and settled there for a while, no hurry to fly again”
A one off pieces, handmade by Karrie Easter. Stoneware sculpture of a dove sitting peacefully on his wooden perch. This sculpture shows the peace of stillness and the pause for new beginnings. Aprox 30cm in height, in two parts.
